RESERVATION and some other important issues under the CONSTITUTION

Reservation for “Backward classes”, though became a constitutional right both in the educational institutions and in government employments , due to efforts of great leaders of Tamil Nadu like periyar , kamarajar and Anna , the other Backward Classes had to traverse a thorny path. Hurdles came in succession in the form of judicial proceedings initiated by unconcerned persons under the guise of public Interest litigation. The end of thorny path is yet to be sighted. This book “RESERVATION and some other important issues under the CONSTITUTION ” is an attempt to bring to fore the ingenious methods adopted by vested interests against the OBCs and consequent constitutional complexities and the way out to overcome the hurdles.
