The identical Tamil Edition, “Bhagavad Gita Myth or Mirage” has undergone twenty-four editions so far. Hence a revised English edition was long overdue but blessing in disguise is that a lot of information has been add into individual chapters apart from a few more two exclusive full chapters with the hope that the thematic content will enhance the relevance of the work furthermore. No hears or gossiping against Gita but materials and document added into, go to prove that the facade of glory and divinity attributed to Gita is a mere advertisement and humbug. Truth behind Gita is diametrically opposite to it. Truly speaking Gita strikes a discordant note and proves to be caste-oriented and deliberately meant to perpetuate Varuna dharma which is in fact Varuna Adharma. Unmasking the artificial glory this work is the 'summum bonum' of this sumptuous research work.
Readers of this revised edition are therefore requested no go through the volume cursorily but subject it to a threadbare. Analysis and to offer their scholarly comments. Reaction from the readers is a reasonable provocation for pursuing research.
We appreciate the translator Prof. Dr. Palani Arangasamy. For his scholarly and scintillating language. We congratulate his untiring efforts for this monumental, research work.
